-another song from the wonderful Grant Schultz at Valleybrook!!
“In your freedom we will live forever, we will rise up we wil stand together. Your light will shine and the world will see, we have come alive in your victory.”
“All the world will come alive in the love of Jesus Christ. Every heart and every voice lifted up for the savior’s glory.”

Here With Me
this is a song that one of the pastors at my church in Eau Claire wrote. I felt so blessed to attend Valleybrook this year, I have never liked a church that much. I am really thankful for everyone there because I can’t even tell you how much I learned this year, and how much the people of this church truly changed my life!

I’ve been back in my hometown for about 3 days. So far, although I’ve had fun moments, I feel very out of place. It’s weird being back after a year of growth and change. Within the past year at Eau Claire, I feel I’ve grown soooooo much in Christ, and people here in this town don’t know me and who I’ve become. Granted, I know I’m still the same person and you can’t change THAT much in a year, but there are ways I am definitely different. A while ago I decided I didn’t want an identity apart from God if that makes any sense, and realized some people here might not be okay with that. I’ve been struggling with figuring out how the me I am now translates back here where people only know the me I was last year. It’s weird, I never thought I’d have to think about this. And I really hope that God keeps transforming me and shaping me into who He wants me to be, I don’t want to backtrack on all that I’ve learned this year.
